Inside Cybersecurity: Groups Tackle Supply Chain Risk, NIST Holds Expo

Today the Department of Homeland Security, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and the General Services Administration are teaming up to host in McLean, VA, working group sessions on software and supply chain assurance.

The event will be held at MITRE, a not-for-profit organization that operates federally sponsored research and development centers.

The groups will tackle cyber issues in the supply chain – the process through which tech products are produced, distributed, installed and finally disposed – and risk management.
